JOURNEY TO SLUGTOPIA: INTO THE BLUE LAGOON

slug slime is healing, they use it on wounds,

i've felt dried up

a crustacean out of the ocean

slugs on salt

SOS

free party, same as it ever was

 my soul-slug parting wave

you held me and things began to resolve

but my hollowness resides in me like a cave

simultaneously raging like a volcano core

vertically we climbed, on ancient lava

horizontal rain

washing away guilt and shame

stood on the edge of the magnificent crater

vertigo and awe

the black glitchy lines of what was once molten

words explode luminous orange out of my mouth,

into the abyss

pain and forgiveness

i threw rocks into your giant mouth,

you ate me up, spat me out

and I swim in your blue lagoon
